It's been a while since I've wrote. A lack of motivation amongst others has been the factor so I apologise.
Well the past two weeks have been horrific to say the least. Losing to Birmingham, Barcelona and Man United have left us with one chance to grab that elusive silverware. And it is a great chance. Win our remaining games and we are Champions. It's not easy, but on the other hand, not entirely out of reach.
It's been a familiar story, suffering a horror two weeks around this stage of the season. Is it a lack of character? Possibly. We've got from now until May to sort it out ourselves, and the players have to start playing for pride again. They've been written off, time to shut up a few snide people out there.
To be champions we need to better Man United. Currently 3 points behind with a game in hand, they are there for the taken. They've progressed into the quarters of the Champions League and the Semi of the FA Cup. Both finals are in their sights - great news for us. Hopefully they will be distracted from the league, where we must take advantage.
Onto us, and we must improve. Stop feeling sorry for ourselves. Stop blaming the referee. Yes, awful decisions have gone against us recently but we can't change that. It's up to us to win the game, and we've not been doing that successfully recently. It is my understanding that these decisions level themselves out over the season, so just keep calm gooners.
Alot of players need to raise their game, big time. At this stage we cannot afford to carry passengers, and without naming any, there appears to be some even in our starting line up. Every player should take a look at Jack Wilshere, he is leading this team at times and if everyone took a leaf out of his book, I'm sure we would win alot more games. To me, he is the natural successor to be captain should Cesc Fabregas leave.
We lost a Cup final, and a quarter final to our biggest rival. Now time to make amends for that in our remaining games. Come on Arsenal!
