As expected, Sagna and Clichy came in at full back, and Nasri replaced Rosicky. Straight from the first whistle, we came racing out of the blocks. I believe we intimidated Braga with our brand of football. They just couldn't live with us.
Cesc released Chamakh into the box who showed great pace to nick the ball past the keeper and win a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. (We should of have a penalty before hand but somehow the extra officials failed to spot the challenge.) Cesc stepped up and slotted the ball home for 1 - 0. From then on, there was no way back for Braga if truth be told. Such was our excellent start, they couldn't get a grip on the game.At Blackburn, Cesc was on the periphery of the match. At Bolton, he showed he''s almost there. Last night, he sent out a message to the continent he is back. And in style. He showed marvellous footwork to wriggle free from two defenders to release Andrey Arshavin, who took a touch and finished cleverly at the near post. 2 - 0. The third goal was quite spectacular. Such an array of passing which can only be applauded. Arshavin chipped the ball to the edge of the box, Chamakh chested the ball and played it to Wilshere, who deliciously backheeled the ball back into the path of Chamakh who drilled home the third, and for me, the goal of the game. If you have a chance, make sure you watch that goal. Excellent.

Final score, 6 nil to the Arsenal. 16 goals in 3 games at the Emirates so far this season. Cannot complain! So many positives to take from last night's demolition, no matter how much Townsend and Southgate try put an ugly spin on things.
Almunia, when called upon, looked safe. Good to see. Koscielny, even in the 80th minute when the game was dead and buried, showed great determination to win tackles. Despite some wasteful passes, Arshavin finished the game with a goal and two assists.
Jack Wilshere really showed Arsenal fans glimpses of what's to come from his. Darting runs, clattering into tackles, neat touches, lovely passing. All of that was on show tonight. Like Arsene said, there is no better way to learn than playing alongside Cesc Fabregas. And to be fair to the youngster, he did not look at all out of place.

My final big shout out to is Marouane Chamakh. On Twitter I had doubts about putting such praise on him but when he puts in shifts such as he has been doing, it's hard to be anything but complimentary. His attitude, work-rate and desire are absolutely top notch. He is already a fan's favourite and it's easy to see why. People, me included, had doubts about his clinical touch infront of goal, but he seems to be an excellent finisher. With the amount of chances we create, he will net alot of goals this season.
All in all, an excellent performance. Off to the Stadium of Light on Saturday evening we go. I for one cannot wait!
If any of you readers are feeling a bit down, this video will cheer you up. Legend status set in stone for sure!
Keep the faith

best game ive seen on matchday 1, people talk of barcelona being great entertainers with their style of play, but what i saw from arsenal last night was a team on another level, simply amazing with their movement and passes. the pundits and naysayers will continue to doubt us, but who cares! they can all go suck a fat 1. peace
