Hope you're not suffering too much this Monday morning.
Alot of you have picked up on the one sided viewing on the highlight programmes such as Goals on Sunday and Match of the Day. They can analyse the foul Song made, which by the by wasn't dangerous, but the reckless lunge by Paul Robinson of Bolton, injury Abou Diaby in the process, wasn't even given a sniff.
Now Arsenal fans complain about a media attitude against us, and sometimes I've not felt that way, but us fans have every right to be aggrieved. I always thought Owen Coyle was a likeable manager, but I've lost all respect for him. The way he whored himself on Goals on Sunday, stating how Bolton had a chance 11 versus 11, was cringeworthy. What game was he watching!? Not at one stage of the match did we look like losing. Echoing LadyArse's views, it's annoying how often the opposing manager ends up in the studio on Goals on Sunday, as to brush over the physicality of their side. When the Diaby foul was shown, Coyle's face said it all. He seen how bad it was, claimed to see it once only (no replays we're shown again though, surprise!) then had the cheek to bring up the foul Gallas made the previous year!
Sorry Coyle, I use to like you, but your opinions are wasted and clueless. I envisage you going in the same direction as Messrs Allardyce and Brown.
No update on Abou Diaby's injury, but fingers crossed it's not as bad as it looks.
On Saturday, the strength of our squad was evident. For the game against Braga, I feel more changes will be made, and rightly so. Arsene needs to use the rotation system to fine affect if we're to succeed this season. Bring it on!Before I go, there's an article worthy of 5 minutes of your time. I'm a big fan of Denilson, he keeps it simple and keeps our passing patterns ticking over. He's a young lad, seems down to earth and very likeable. How he gets so much stick is beyond me, but I guess that's the fickleness and probably spoilt behaviour amongst a minority of the Emirates faithful. Anyways, the article in question is by Gingers for Limpar, and if you question what Denilson does, please read.
That's it for today, I will be on Twitter throughout the day offering more ramblings and opinions.
Thanks for reading!
