The Interlull is over; proper football is back

Morning all

What a dreary and dull international break that was! It felt like it lasted for at least 6 weeks.

During such breaks, it surely makes you appreciate the Arsenal the whole lot more. Last Friday, I saw Scotland use a formation unheard of to Arsene Wenger; a 4-6-0 formation. That, for me, was a complete shambles. Intentionally playing for a draw means one thing, a loss. And quite right.

On Tuesday, I was reminded of Arsenal in the shape of Spain. I know many gooners have gripes about the majority of that squad, but their football is a joy to watch, and Xabi Alonso in particular was pulling the strings. Imagine if we signed him. Wow.

So it's Birmingham on Saturday. A bogey team of sorts, but as it is at the Emirates, I'm fully expecting to win. And handsomely at that.

Our injuries are starting to clear up. Nicklas Bendtner is rumoured to be ready, and with Chamakh impressing, it's over to Bendtner to remind us how good he can be. I like Bendtner, firmly believe he can be world class, and although he is quite arrogant, that is needed to be a top player.

Great news is Aaron Ramsey is back and running, and according to Young Guns, is pencilled in for a reserves run out sometime in November.

When our squad is injury free (yeah I know, wishful thinking ey!?) we have one hell of a squad.

I've read articles regarding former Gunner Alex Hleb. Boo him or not? Well, I wasn't fussed about his leaving. He wanted to go, he left, and regretted it. Don't boo him, it will only make him feel better and spur him on. When he gets the ball, just react like it's any other player.

Sorry for the jumbled up posting today, just making my way back into things. I believe we don't have another Interlull for some time, which is a bloody good thing!

Thanks for reading, and remember advice and feedback is welcome at all times.
