Morning all.
What a poor weekend. Even getting mind numbingly drunk didn't help cure the North London derby pain.
I'm not gonna write about what happened in the game, to avoid bursting into tears at any time. Alot of fall out has happened over what shall we do next, and I do believe something has to be done.
I'm not calling for Wenger's head, far from it. We need him. No other manager could replace him IMO. What is needed is a huge shake up of players. Or backroom staff. It is clear to see we don't have that winning mentality of Manchester United. We're going into games at home (West Brom, Newcastle, Tottenham) thinking we've won before we actually have. It seems this team need to go three goals up before we're confident of seeing the game out.
Individually, we have some great players. Individually, we have fantastic defenders. Which is why it is so baffling to see the team defend so painfully as a team.
We need to sort something out. And quick. The title is still there to win, bizarrely enough. And if that isn't an incentive for one of the finest clubs in the world, then I don't know what is.
Although shaken, my faith in this team is still huge. The players have got themselves into this mess, and I fully expect them to get themselves out of it.
What do you think? Does anything (and what) needs to change?
Hope to hear some feedback! Thanks for reading!
spinneless ass senal up in you asses!!
ReplyDeleteThe thing that left that first comment needs to be reminded, as we sang to one fool who dared enter the Blind Pig in New York wearing a blasphemous shirt... "You're Spurs! And you know you are!" Fifty years, never again. Twenty years without a major trophy. Small club, forever.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't change the fact that what Arsenal have done so far is unacceptable. Nobody job should be safe. Not even Cesc's. Not even Arsene's. He's got to shake things up, and if that means sitting Cesc for Braga, so be it.
Well I see the first comment is one full of education...
ReplyDeleteAgreed that no one is safe. We need that winning mentality back, and Wenger needs to start making a stand for the club.
The name on the front of the shirt is far more important than the one on the back!
