Arsenal 1-2 Birmingham; We will be back

First of all, congratulations go to Birmingham City. Terrific achievement.

Right, that's out the way. Onto Arsenal. Really really gutted. Gutted for the players, for Wenger and more importantly for the fans. It just wasn't meant to be. I am convinced this team is good enough to win trophies, and who knows, maybe yesterday will push this team on to glory.

I think you've all read about or seen the game by now so I'll not bore you with stats and incidents.

I thought Jack Wilshere was absolutely outstanding though. In Cesc Fabregas absence, he took centre stage. And looked every bit the superstar, driving our team on. He was desperately unlucky not to finish a winner. But his time will come. Very very soon. He will be lifting a trophy for Arsenal soon, and it will be the first of many.

My thoughts on the second goal? Well, it's hard to point the blame at one person. Both Laurent Koscielny and Wojciech Szczesny have to take the blame. In hindsight, Koscielny should of smashed the ball down the pitch, but well well. These things happen. They are both young, brilliant players and will learn from this.

I'm truly gutted. I thought yesterday was our day. Ultimately, it wasn't. Not a problem, we will bounce back from it. Don't anyone dare say this don't care. The looks on their faces after the whistle were truly heartbreaking. They will now use this hurt to push them on and win. Of that I have no doubt.

Still a proud Gooner.
